I've always loved to travel.
I'm curious about places, but even more curious about the people who live there, the food they eat, the places they gather and the little details that make somewhere feel different from home.
I've traveled all over the world, but Mexico was different.
I fell in love with the people, the culture, the food, the landscapes and the incredible variety of life here.
And after spending the last six years living, working and exploring Mexico, I realized something:
I don't just love traveling through Mexico. I love helping other people experience it.

Because you can find almost anything here.

Mexico has those too.
Desert landscapes.
Jungle.
Colonial towns.
Ancient ruins.
World-class cities.
Tiny villages.
Haciendas.
Islands.
Vineyards.
Cenotes.
Surf towns.
Art communities.
And then there's the food.
From tacos eaten standing on a sidewalk to long lunches, regional specialties, incredible seafood, mezcal, contemporary Mexican cuisine and some of the most exciting restaurants in the world, food is one of my favorite ways to experience a place. Mexico's culinary traditions are deeply regional and are recognized internationally as part of the country's cultural heritage.
That's what keeps bringing me back.
There's always another road to take, another restaurant to discover, another town to wander through and another person to meet.
SIX YEARS OF GETTING TO KNOW MEXICO
I didn't fall in love with Mexico from a hotel pool.
I lived here.
I built a life here.
I worked here.
I explored here.
I made friends here.
I ate my way through it.
And I learned how much there is to discover beyond the places that make the guidebooks.
Over the years, I've built relationships with the people who make travel here special—from hotel teams and restaurant owners to drivers, guides, chefs, boat captains and event professionals.
Through Holbox Concierge, I've put those relationships to work helping travelers, families, groups and destination wedding guests navigate Mexico.
Now I'm bringing that same personal approach to more of the country.

Before I was a concierge, I was the person planning my own trips.
I'm the person who wants to know:

It started with one island.
Holbox is home.
It's where I built my first concierge business and learned what it really means to take care of someone else's vacation.
